A Place of Understanding & Support
Located in Platteville, Wisconsin, in a beautiful country setting, FASD Communities was the first adult group home in the nation solely dedicated to serving the needs of people living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), often known as “the invisible disability.”
Fostering Connection, Community & Caring
Despite years of experiencing serious difficulties living with FASD, our young adult residents now have a safe, understanding, and supportive group home to call their own, as they strive each day to reach their full potential and live lives of purpose and meaning by volunteering in their communities.
What We Provide Our Residents

Belonging
Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. At FASD Communities, residents find more than roommates — they find family. Our supportive environment encourages lasting friendships and a true sense of belonging.

Growth
Guided support helps each resident grow at their own pace. Through life skills coaching and a nurturing environment, we empower individuals to build confidence, make good choices, and take meaningful steps toward living up to their full potential.

Purpose
Whether it’s volunteering in the community or preparing home meals, maintaining the garden and sharing household chores, our residents engage in purposeful activities that build self worth and direction.

Safety
Our group home is both physically and emotionally safe — where structure is balanced with compassion, and every resident feels protected and supported.
